Each day, at greeting, I have a message for the class.  It may tell about new materials out in centers, something special going on that day, etc.  Next the children all write their 'messages' on a dry erase board and I select 3 children to share their messages with the class.  Below you will find a video showing the children writing their messages, 3 clips with a child sharing, and a clip from worktime later in the same day in which there is a 'teacher' having her students write messages and share with the class.  I was so excited to see them carrying the messages into their pretend play.
