This week we have continued our dinosaur activities, including watching 2 movies about dinosaurs. We worked on art work for our Week of the Young Child exhibit. This year our artwork was inspired by the illustrations of Eric Carle. We watched some of his videos on his website to show us how he does his illustrations. We spent time looking at books that have his illustrations.
The book fair was this week in our school library. We have a generous friend who bought a book for each child from our classroom who had not shopped the book fair. Thank you to our classroom friend!
Our art work will be exhibited at PBI Bank (across from Walgreens). We will be setting the art work up Monday at 1:00 and will be taking the exhibit down on Friday at 1:00 next week. Please go by there to see your child’s work. Tell all your family and friends to go by too.
Our April parent meeting will be on Tuesday, April 24, at 5:30 in the cafeteria. Our topic will focus on dinosaurs and activities for you to do with your child.
Our school’s Green Team will be collecting coke cans and tabs during the week of 4/30-5/3. The proceeds from this will be donated to our school’s Relay for Life team.
