Thank you to the family members who went with us to the fire department. We had a prediction sheet with pictures of all the things we thought we would see and we marked off each one as we saw it there. Thanks to the creativeness of the firemen, we were able to mark off all the things on our list!
On Monday we will be having a Footwear Fashionshow! Each child needs to bring his/her favorite shoes to school. If it’s a pair of shoes that they can’t wear at school all day, just send them in the backpack and they can change shoes just for the fashion show. We will be reading The Foot Book by Dr. Seuss.
This week we have learned about the fire department and safety. We took a walk through the school and found 31 exit signs in our building. We learned what an exit is and designed our own exit signs. We continued with our rhyming activities. Ms. Pam did a rhyming song with us with Little Miss Muffet. We made a class book with positional words to go with Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham and today we cooked green eggs to eat with our ham.
