How long was a T-Rex?

As part of our research on dinosaurs, we were talking about the size.  We read that a T-Rex could be 30 feet long.  We decided to see how long 30 feet was.  The kids worked together to make a paper chain that we compared with a tape measure until we had 30 feet.  Our chain is hanging in our room to remind us how long a T-Rex was.



The first time we measured our chain to the tape measure, it wasn't quite long enough.

Finally we got our chain to be 30 feet!
